Milo is a 1 year old male English Springer Spaniel Cross. Due to his history we recommend no children, he has bite history. He would be best suited to a home as an only dog. He has not yet tested, we would anticipate that he can not live with cats. Max is a handsome Springer mix, full of energy and fun! Due to Milo’s previous bite history he would be best suited to an adult only home with no other dogs. He enjoys his walks and training, he potentially has some triggers that make him anxious, this could be meeting new people, being in stressful situations (he bit a dog groomer) And just generally he is anxious and highly strung. He would be happy being left for up to 4 hours after a walk if this is progressively worked towards over a few months, currently he should be ok being left for a could of hours. He loves his food and at the kennels is fed a raw diet of natural instinct. He has been healthy during his stay at the kennels. Located at Glendee Rescue, Hertfordshire.
Milo is an energetic boy that would benefit from some basic training. Though he has been great with us during his stay, he has bite hisotry so that must be taken into account in finding a suitable home for him. He is easily anxious, he can be vocal out on walks, he finds being still and being touched difficult. He can jump up and get tangled in his lead and he sometimes grabs hold of the lead, all signs of stress in certain situations, so we are looking for a kind, calm and steady home for him with someone that is used to dogs like Milo. He is going to be a really wonderful companion to the right person, bright and vibrant in his personality but easily upset. He is a sensitive boy.
This is our current assessment, the assessments are on-going as always, and although we temperament test our dogs in many situations, we can not know how they be when they arrive in your home, support is given as always be given by the trainer you are matched to.
