Darcy is a 6 year old female English Springer Spaniel cross Patterdale Terrier . She is the much loved dog of one of our supporters who has asked us for help to rehome her. They have had her since she was a puppy and she is neutered, vaccinated, chipped and worming and flea treatment are all up to date. The issue with Darcy is that she is not getting on with the other dogs in the home nor dogs out on walks. She has been health checked and they have had the help of a behaviourist but Darcy simply does not like other dogs. Pulls on a lead but great in a harness, good recall, fully housetrained with no issues with being left and chewing etc.
Darcy is a wonderful dog with people. She loves them and is always wanting to play. Fantastic company for someone. Darcy was fine with other dogs until a phantom pregnancy which seems to have affected her feelings towards other dogs which is a real shame as apart from this she is a great little girl. This is a much loved girl who would be going no where but this issue is making Darcy and the other 2 dogs in the home unhappy and it can’t continue sadly. Darcy is with her owner in Bramham West Yorkshire and needs a quiet home as an only dog with little interaction with other dogs, no cats and is good with kids but older ones would be best.
